LEAD Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took an 87-82 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cane Ridge Ravens. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Jaiden Pugh continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cane Ridge, going 10 for 18 en route to 36 points along with eight assists and seven boards. Those 36 points gave Pugh a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avyion McCleton, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

LEAD Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Cane Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
