After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Conard, the Immaculate Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 56-29 win over Weston. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Immaculate has managed all season.
Immaculate's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendra Foy, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Miller, who scored 15 points.
Immaculate's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Weston, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home.
Immaculate won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ludlowe at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Ludlowe is ranked 47th, while Immaculate is ranked 21st). As for Weston, they will head out on the road to face off against Pomperaug at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
