The Woodruff Wolverines won the last time they faced the Union County Yellowjackets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Woodruff was the clear victor by a 40-20 margin over Union County. Woodruff pushed the score to 37-11 by the end of the third, a deficit Union County cut but never quite recovered from.
Sadie Burnette was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Means, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Woodruff's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Union County, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
Woodruff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Union County also has no future games currently scheduled.
