Fond du Lac won the last time they faced Ashwaubenon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Jaguars. Considering the Cardinals have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bryson Patton and Alex Demos did most of the damage at the plate: Patton went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while Demos went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Greyson Wenger was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Fond du Lac was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The last time their batting average was this high was was before the start of last season.

Fond du Lac has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ashwaubenon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Fond du Lac will face off against Neenah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ashwaubenon, they will take on Pulaski at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
