DeQuan Turner and Don'Tae Lee provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Morgantown. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in DCIAA - Eastern this season.
McKinley Tech took down Bell 50-34 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Anacostia's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Turner threw for 224 and two touchdowns and Lee had 115 yards receiving. On the ground Turner chipped in 43 yards. Marcus Daniels helped Anacostia's passing attack out by catching three balls for 70 yards.
Anacostia's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Turner has thrown for 688 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Daniels has 13 catches for 254 yards. Laquan Barber leads the league in rushing with 156 yards.
Spingarn and Options Charter played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Spingarn eventually emerging with a 14-8 victory.
