The Johnson Warriors will challenge the Christian Brothers Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Johnson comes in on four and Christian Brothers on three.
Johnson had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Natomas on Friday. Johnson never let Natomas get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 8.5 runs per game.
Anissa Zavala and DeAhjanuque Salter were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Zavala tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Salter pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Zavala has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Zavala went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Salter scored a run while going 1-for-3. That home run marked the first that Zavala launched this season.

Clarissa Aceves-Fonseca was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Johnson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Christian Brothers beat Cordova 10-5 on Tuesday.
Like Johnson, Christian Brothers also got a great game from a two-way player: Jaden Fonts. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the fewest hits Fonts has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaylee Foster, who fired off two home runs, four RBI, and one stolen base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Isabella Sheppard, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Johnson's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Christian Brothers, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
