The Meadows School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.
The Meadows School got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cyrus Hutchison out in front who scored 17 points along with three steals. Hutchison has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Jeremiah Toby was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
The win (which was The Meadows School's sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Somerset Sky Pointe, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Meadows School will challenge Sports Leadership & Management at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset Sky Pointe, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cheyenne at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Cheyenne is ranked 67th, while Somerset Sky Pointe is ranked 69th).
