Despite the loss, John Marshall still got an impressive performance from Bre Defibaugh, who had 23 digs and two aces.
Herbert Hoover's win bumped their record up to 55-8-1. As for John Marshall, they moved to 25-9-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
