The matchup between Plainville and Lewis Mills  on Saturday hardly resembled the  27-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Blue Devils simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Spartans 56-20. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 25  points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plainville to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Anthony Abarno, who threw for 294 yards and five  TDs while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt. Abarno has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last three times he's  played.  William Putnam did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 98 receiving yards.
 Plainville's run defense was locked in: Lewis Mills could only muster -0.1 yards per carry. While two picked up at least three  total tackles,  Yhosman Moffi stood above the rest. He picked up 74 receiving yards and a pair of  scores. Plainville's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.8.
 Special teams was a major factor in the game for Plainville, racking up 20 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Chase Bouchard, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
 Although Lewis Mills took the loss, they still got scores from  Gryfn Kobylarz,  Daniel Ortiz,  and  Jayce Cichy.
The  win made it two in a row for Plainville and  bumps their season record up to 4-3. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 5.3 yards per carry in those games compared to only 3.18 in the others. As for Lewis Mills, their defeat was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-6.
