The Fontainebleau Bulldogs waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Hammond by a score of 60-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fontainebleau also won the last time the pair played on January 5th.
Among those leading the charge was Annalise Shidel, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabelle Chevalier, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Fontainebleau's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Hammond, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fontainebleau will face off against Covington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hammond, they will head out on the road to challenge Pine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Pine is ranked 106th, while Hammond is ranked 115th).
