Mission Oak expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. MO's lone score in the quarter came on an Porchia touchdown run.
The loss snapped Porterville's five-game winning streak.
Porterville's only touchdown came on a 39-yard pass from
Dennis Chester to
Lalo Nevarez in the first quarter.
The Tulare school went into the matchup giving up only 6.4 points per game. Porterville's nine points were well below their season average of 56.6 per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Porterville, which notched a 66-52 victory over Dinuba in its previous outing.
Porterville (5-1) will play a East Yosemite game against Tulare Western next week, while Mission Oak (6-0) will take on Monache also in a East Yosemite game.
