Baker County can bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers by a score of 47-39. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelsie Tillman, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Gracen Settles, who scored nine points.

Baker County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
