The Timpview Thunderbirds and the Davis Darts, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Timpview turned things around against Viewmont last Friday. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 38-26.

Timpview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zion Lloyd out in front who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave Lloyd a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Atuaia, who earned 11 points and six rebounds.
Timpview was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Davis was able to grind out a solid win over Riverton last Friday, taking the game 42-34. The victory continues a trend for the Darts in their matchups with the Silverwolves: they've now won three in a row.
Timpview better keep an eye on Kate Willard. She was instrumental in Davis' win, almost dropping a triple-double with 12 points, nine boards, and nine steals. Willard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Lydia Tarbet was another key player, putting up seven points.
Timpview's record is now 2-9. As for Davis, their record now sits at 6-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Timpview has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Davis struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Timpview lost to Davis on the road by a decisive 56-38 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Thankfully for the Thunderbirds, Kendra Kitchen (who went 9-for-12 to rack up 24 points and eight rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
