Northern Nash has gone 9-0-1 against Nash Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Northern Nash Knights will welcome the Nash Central Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Northern Nash's offense. They fell 2-0 to Roanoke Rapids on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, Nash Central put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Rocky Mount as Nash Central made off with a 6-1 win. It was an even better day for Kaylee Faile as she scored four goals for her team.

Nash Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three contests. As for Northern Nash, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.

Northern Nash came out on top in a nail-biter against Nash Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does Northern Nash have another victory up their sleeve, or will Nash Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
