Mount Pleasant is 7-1 against South Stanly since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Rowdy Rebel Bulls at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Mount Pleasant fought the good fight in their overtime game against Gray Stone Day on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3. Mount Pleasant have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, South Stanly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Albemarle, falling 5-1. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly South Stanly struggled afterwards.

South Stanly's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mount Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything went Mount Pleasant's way against South Stanly in their previous meeting back in March, as Mount Pleasant made off with a 9-0 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rowdy Rebel Bulls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
