Jordan Do Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Archer got the W thanks in part to Jordan Do playing the best football he has all season. Do threw for 405 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Do has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 218.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 13.

Zion Johnson's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his 13th-straight game with 105+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 244 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards.
Newton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Johnson and Newton are taking a road trip to take on North Gwinnett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Grayson Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to Travis Burgess
Travis Burgess's big game helped extend Grayson's winning streak to ten on Friday. Burgess did his part (and then some), throwing for 187 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 52 yards for the 'W'.
Grayson's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Burgess and Grayson will challenge Norcross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Xavier Butler Dazzles in South Gwinnett Loss
South Gwinnett was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Xavier Butler did his best to prevent it. Butler turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns.
This season, Butler has averaged 109.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to 14.
