The Trinity Collegiate Titans posted their biggest victory since December 1, 2023 on Saturday. They put the hurt on Lake View with a sharp 71-46 victory. Given Trinity Collegiate's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Lake View is ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Landon Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Evan Williams, who scored 13 points.
Trinity Collegiate now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lake View, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Trinity Collegiate will square off against Lugoff-Elgin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Nigel Chivers and Wilson. As for Lake View, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dillon Christian at 8:00 p.m. Dillon Christian is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
