The Midview Middies will take on the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Midview took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Elyria as they made off with a 13-5 win. The Middies haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jillian Vandersluis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Midview got a massive performance out of Dezirae Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Thomas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nina Ballachino, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Midview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Olmsted Falls came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Titans.
MOLLY SHEEHAN spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, Olmsted Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was HAILEY KLAMUT, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Midview pushed their record up to 5-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Olmsted Falls, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Midview might still be hurting after the 10-3 defeat they got from Olmsted Falls in their previous meeting on Tuesday. Will the Middies have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
