Basketball Recap: Lemoore Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Lemoore won the last time they faced Mission Oak, and Micah Fox did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lemoore Tigers put the hurt on the Mission Oak Hawks with a sharp 73-51 win on Friday thanks in part to Fox, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. He is becoming a predictor of Lemoore's success: when he posts at least eight boards the team is 12-3 (and 4-7 when he doesn't).

Aiden Mcdaniel was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Mission Oak lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jennuwynn Portillo, who posted eight points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Ian Cruz, who put up 12 points and five rebounds.

Lemoore has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Mission Oak, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

Lemoore has already played their next matchup, a 64-53 defeat against Dinuba on the 4th. As for Mission Oak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 97-75 loss against Tulare Union on the 4th.
