Enfield and Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering played the most contested game in Pequot - North this week, with Enfield eventually emerging with a 13-12 victory.
Cromwell fell to Coginchaug Regional 35-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ellington/Somers's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joseph Leslie threw for 80 and 1 touchdown and Mark Hickman had 67 yards receiving. On the ground Christian Schneider contributed 161 yards.
The Knights' dynamic duo of Leslie and Hickman proved to be unstoppable against Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Schneider provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Ellington/Somers bested the Patriots.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Panthers' Mavric Pelletier and Jarius Bailey have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Pelletier has thrown for 1,424 yards this season, while Bailey has 46 catches for 582 yards. Jarvis Miller from Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby leads the league in rushing with 1,611 yards.
Leslie has rushed for 907 yards on 172 carries so far this year.
Sean Byrne's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton. Schneider ran for 161 yards during the win.
