Lake extended the longest winning streak in Northern Buckeye this week by beating Otsego, 38-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Eastwood was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Eagles defeated Woodmore 40-12.
Lake's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Flyers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared Rettig has thrown for 643 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Adam Duncan has 12 catches for 291 yards.
The Wildcats are in third place, while Lake is in first place.
Mark Emans' team moved up to 120 from 190 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Flyers climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Knights 38-0.
