The LaSalle Royal Lions fell victim to the Belen Jesuit Wolverines's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a rough 24-0 defeat at the hands of the Wolverines. Despite 103 more yards than Belen Jesuit, LaSalle couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Belen Jesuit's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid the passer out six times before it was all said and done. Gavench Marcelin was especially locked on to LaSalle's QB and sacked him three times.
