The Beth Haven Bearcats can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 89-42 victory over Varsity Opponent at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Beth Haven as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Beth Haven got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was DaMontez Malone out in front who scored 19 points along with six assists and six steals. Malone continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Levi Langley, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Beth Haven's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Varsity Opponent, they dropped their record down to 364-1300-2 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beth Haven will square off against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on the Flames at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
