With a playoff win on the line, McBee rose to the challenge on Wednesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 78-77 win over the North Eagles. The Panthers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.
Ashton Jamison and Stetson Stacks certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Jamison went 13-for-19 to rack up 34 points and seven rebounds, while Stacks went 9-for-15 en route to 22 points and six steals. Stacks' afternoon made it 24 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Felder, who posted 13 points and six boards.
McBee's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points over those games. As for North, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.
