Perhaps the best among them was Connor Morris, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for Morris. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Bell, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3. As for Desert Mountain, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North will take on Canyon del Oro at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Will Dixion and Dylan Novak. As for Desert Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Sunrise Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Sunrise Mountain focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
