Basketball Recap: Draughn Skates Past Rosman with Ease

Draughn won the last time they faced Rosman and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Draughn Wildcats blew past the Rosman Tigers 68-29. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Marlee Carnathan and Aniya Swartz certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Carnathan went 5 for 11 on her way to 12 points and five rebounds, while Swartz posted nine points and seven boards.

With the win, Draughn broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-9. As for Rosman, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-13.

Draughn will host NCSSM: Morganton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rosman, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-28 defeat against Madison on the 5th.
