Klein Oak has gone a perfect 10-0 against Klein Forest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Klein Oak is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
Klein Oak barely beat Klein Cain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Hurricanes 8-2 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won eight in a row.

Reagan Eldred was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Klein Oak let Morgan Sanchez and Sky Gonzalez run wild. Sanchez went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double, while Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Rylee MIlls also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Klein Oak lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in February.
Meanwhile, Klein Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Klein.
Like Klein Oak, Klein Forest also got a great game from a two-way player: Jaylee Garza-2029. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. Garza-2029 was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Klein Oak's record now sits at 17-6. As for Klein Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Klein Oak has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Klein Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Klein Oak skirted past Klein Forest 1-0 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
