Jay's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Brackenridge Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mikayla Garcia paced Jay's offense, picking up seven kills. Garcia got some help from Alyssa Reyes and her 16 assists. Reyes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Jay's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Brackenridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
