While Stayton's win against Marist wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Spartans 4-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Stayton's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Marist, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 15-9 record.

Stayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marist, they will take on North Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
