The Mingo Central Miners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to WestSide at home by a decisive 70-52 margin. If Mingo Central hoped to take revenge for the 67-50 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
WestSide's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kadien Vance, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Bishop, who scored 13 points.
Mingo Central has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. One thing working in Nicholas County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
