The Maynard Tigers entered their tilt with the Clinton Gaels with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Maynard narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Clinton 24-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Maynard also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2018.
Despite the loss, Clinton still got an impressive performance from Axel Ramos, who rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Maynard's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. As for Clinton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
