Fans of Franklin-Simpson have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
LaReesha Cawthorn was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lyniah Brown, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Franklin-Simpson's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Glasgow, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin-Simpson will take on Warren East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Warren East is ranked 34th, while Franklin-Simpson is ranked 22nd). As for Glasgow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Russellville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
