The Chisholm Trail Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by Boswell 80-19. Chisholm Trail was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-12.
Boswell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camille Williams, who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Boswell's points. Salena Carrasco was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with eight assists and four steals.
Chisholm Trail bumped their record down to 3-19 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Boswell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 21 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
Chisholm Trail will head out on the road to challenge Bell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bell is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 16 games. As for Boswell, they will be playing at home against Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Boswell is ranked 12th).
