Tiftarea Academy fell 56-46 to Central Fellowship Christian Academy on Monday. While losing is never fun, Tiftarea Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Central Fellowship Christian Academy is ranked 162nd).
Central Fellowship Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Knox Walls out in front who scored 13 points. Trey Bradley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 9 rebounds.
The last time Tiftarea Academy won on the road was back on Friday. Having now lost three straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Tiftarea Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stratford Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they will take on Tattnall Square Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
