On Friday Green River take on Rawlins at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Green River gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last week. They took their contest against Lander Valley 31-20.
Meanwhile, Rawlins had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They might be aching after a bruising 7-35 loss to Evanston.
Green River's win lifted them to 1-0 while Rawlins's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Green River's success rolls on or if Rawlins are able to steal their positive momentum.
