Softball Recap: Fox Creek Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Fox Creek never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 28-0 margin over the Keenan Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Predators, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Fox Creek got a massive performance out of Ava Lindsay, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Karter Wood, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Fox Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .865. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Fox Creek is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.6 runs over those games. Keenan is on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Creek will square off against Swansea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fox Creek is facing Swansea at the right time seeing as Swansea is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Keenan, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Newberry at 6:00 p.m.
