On Monday, South Central narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Hoisington 45-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Central.
Despite the loss, Hoisington still got an impressive performance from Tony Moore, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Moore scored a full 44.2% of Hoisington's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Martin, who scored 12 points.
South Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hoisington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
South Central will look to defend their home court on December 12th against Meade at 7:30 p.m. As for Hoisington, they will face off against Ellis at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
