 North Pike's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Florence, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1.
 North Pike will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome Natchez, where first pitch is scheduled  at 6:30  p.m. North Pike is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game this season. As for Florence, they will face off against Union at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
