If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pace Academy. They have had some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next match, which is against Redan at 7:30 PM on Friday. Pace Academy have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Redan are surely hoping to exploit.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-44, which was the final score in Pace Academy's tilt against Charlotte Christian two weeks ago. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Pace Academy.
Meanwhile, Redan took a serious blow against Southwest DeKalb, falling 0-41. Redan were down by 0-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
