If Woodstock North was riding high fresh off their 13-5 takedown of Plano last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thunder took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Johnsburg Skyhawks on Monday. The Thunder's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodstock North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Schaffter, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Schaffter launched this season.

Woodstock North's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Johnsburg, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

While Woodstock North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
