The Joliet West Tigers posted their biggest win since December 26, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past Oswego East 65-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Joliet West.
Joliet West got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maziah Shelton out in front who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Chism, who scored 13 points.
Joliet West has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Oswego East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Joliet West will take on Joliet Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Joliet Central is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Oswego East, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Minooka at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th.
