Meanwhile, Southwest put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They blew past Central, posting a 37-0 win on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Southwest who now have three in a row.
James May and Chase Dupree were among the main playmakers for Southwest as the former rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries and the latter rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Southwest's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Rinaldo Callaway and his 2.5 sacks.
Toombs County pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Southwest, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
