King's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Apalachee is ranked 396th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kennedy Ruzvidzo jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of M.L. King's points. Another player making a difference was Jaleon Johnson, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
M.L. King's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Apalachee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
M.L. King won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Social Circle at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th. As for Apalachee, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on East Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
