After losing to Riverview the last time they met, Central Arkansas Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Central Arkansas Christian blew past Riverview 40-14. After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Central Arkansas Christian offense stepped up its game and put 21 points on the board in the second quarter. Riverview put up 14, so the score was 21-14 at the half. The offense for Central Arkansas Christian continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 19 points to put the game away. The win got them back to even at 2-2. The defeat dropped Riverview's record to 1-3.
Central Arkansas Christian will look to defend their home turf next week against Mills University Studies. Central Arkansas Christian will be strutting in after a win while Mills University Studies will be stumbling in from a loss. Riverview are packing up and heading on the road for their first away contest this season. They face off against Southside at 7:00 PM.
