Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orchard View). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 win over the Lee Legends on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted since December 5, 2023.

Orchard View's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orchard View will square off against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fremont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Zion Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
