The Max S. Hayes Lakers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Campus International 61-15 at home. With Max S. Hayes ahead 37-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Max S. Hayes can attribute much of their success to Annalysh Caraballo, who scored 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Williams, who scored 14 points.
Max S. Hayes' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Campus International, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Max S. Hayes will take on Maple Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Campus International, they will head out on the road to face off against John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. John Marshall's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Campus International's offense will have their work cut out for Campus International.
