Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evelyn Saucedo, who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals. That's the first time this season that Saucedo pulled down eight or more rebounds. Maggie Roeder was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Lake County's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-11. As for The Pinnacle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Lake County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bruce Randolph at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Bruce Randolph is ranked 313th, while Lake County is ranked 318th). As for The Pinnacle, they will head out on the road to face off against Arvada at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
