The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Holmes, who took down 60th ranked Ashland, 41-36.
The Knights extended the longest winning streak in Ohio Cardinal this week by beating the Arrows, 41-36. The victory was the fifth in a row for West Holmes.
Ashland's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyson Vogel threw for 359 and four touchdowns and Nick Barker had 150 yards receiving. On the ground Vogel chipped in 44 yards. Max Stringer helped Ashland's passing attack out by catching three balls for 93 yards.
Ashland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Arrows feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vogel has thrown for 1715 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Barker has 41 catches for 847 yards. Vogel also leads the league in rushing with 241 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mansfield Senior takes on Scott Valentine's team. The Tygers are currently in second, while the Arrows are in fifth.
The Knights moved up to 58 from 134 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ohio Cardinal. West Holmes was able to make the jump by beating Ashland 41-36.
