They strolled past Verbum Dei Jesuit with points to spare, taking the game 80-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Donovan Desha out in front who dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Desha posted eight or more assists. Harlem Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reese Whitman, who scored 19 points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Whitman, who scored 22 points along with two steals.
Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
