Wyatt Atkinson Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Perkins-Tryon got the W thanks in part to Wyatt Atkinson playing the best football he has all season. Atkinson rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Mannford's probably not too fond of Atkinson given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Atkinson saw the Pirates), he rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
